Please send us your work
The 16th edition of the festival is open to all students who attend college in the NYC metropolitan area, and who have produced any type of computer generated imagery (animation, visualization, visual effects, research work, etc.) within the course of their studies – in other words, you haven’t been paid for it.
Deadline: June 8, 2018

What can I Enter?
Although MetroCAF is a “Computer Animation Festival” we’re actually looking for all types of computer-generated imagery – not just character animations. Visual effects, animatics, motion graphics, research work, visualizations – we want to see whatever you have. This year, we are also encouraging students to enter segments captured from virtual reality experiences they have produced.
Don’t think what you have is “good enough”? Let us make that decision. As long as it’s moving images, submit it!
And we’re not just looking for thesis projects. We encourage work from freshmen on up through graduate students. If you’re part of a group, you’ll compete against other groups. If you work individually, you’ll be judged against other solo projects. In addition to the juried competition, the chairs will be selecting a small number of pieces that they feel deserve to be in MetroCAF
If you have any questions, you can e-mail us via our Contact form. We look forward to seeing your work this year.
