{"id":17,"date":"2019-04-11T20:01:19","date_gmt":"2019-04-11T20:01:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/metrocaf.org\/metrocaf\/2019\/?page_id=17"},"modified":"2019-04-11T20:01:19","modified_gmt":"2019-04-11T20:01:19","slug":"tech-specs","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/metrocaf.org\/metrocaf\/2019\/rules\/tech-specs\/","title":{"rendered":"Technical Specifications"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Animations need to be uploaded through the Google Form (our on-line submission system, see the <a href=\"http:\/\/metrocaf.org\/metrocaf\/2018\/submit\">Submission Page<\/a>) as a Quicktime or mp4 movie adhering to the following standards:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Frame size:\n<ul><li>1080p: 1920 x 1080 (square pixels)\n<ul><li>720p: 1280 x 720 (square pixels) is acceptable<\/li><li>Please note that THE JURY VERSION SHOULD BE 720p, regardless of the frame size of the screening version<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/li><li>Frame rate:\n<ul><li>23.976 fps, or<\/li><li>29.97 fps<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/li><li>Video codec:\n<ul><li>AVID DNxHD <a href=\"http:\/\/www.avid.com\/US\/industries\/workflow\/DNxHD-Codec\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">[available here]<\/a>, or<\/li><li>H264 (full-quality, unconstrained bitrate)<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/li><li>Audio:\n<ul><li>Sample frequency\/depth: 48 kHz\/16 bit.<\/li><li>Uncompressed (Linear PCM &#8211; preferred), or<\/li><li>320 kbit\/s AAC compression (acceptable)<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/li><li>Movie Container:\n<ul><li>Quicktime (.mov) or MPEG 4 (.mp4)<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Do not submit work in any other media format.
